Allergic to Running? - On Tuesday mornings, Tina does a brick workout (Spinning for 30 minutes, then out the door for a run) I wasn't expecting to run this morning. We did the 1 minute run then 1 minute walk. She kept me company and kept track of the time and pace. I made it to the Rec Center, and then headed back to the club. Again with the intent of 1 minute running and one minute walking. The way back was easier it is a slight downhill, so I was able to run for a bit longer than 1 minute and my recovery time was just over 30 seconds. I lifted for about 1/2 hour and here's where the allergy part comes in.. I've been SNEEZING since I stopped running. Not constantly, but enough. Have you ever heard of someone being allergic to running? THANK YOU TINA!

MAN TRADES PAPERCLIP FOR HOUSE - you've got to read this is a fantastic story from the BBC, ahh the power of the internet!
2006 Danskin

Can you believe that it's already here? In just 6 days on July 16th at the Aurora Reservoir. I can't believe it. I feel like it was just yesterday when I was looking at over 100 days and now down to just 6! WOW!

About the Danskin - This awesome event celebrates 17 seasons this year. It is the largest and longest-running series in multi-sport history! The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is once again the Official Charity of the 2006 series.

First, a Swim--750 meter swim in a loop course, the water temperature will be between 63--73 degress F.

Followed by a 20K Bike course --on paved roads, with rolling hills in both directions and breathtaking views of the Front Range Mountains.

Finally, a 5K Run along paths entirely within the Aurora Reservoir complex; a combination of cement, dirt and asphalt surfaces. Some rolling hills but very little elevation gain and loss.

Read the great article about group training that appeared last month in the Fit section of the Boulder Daily Camera about our Triathlon training group,

and come on out and CHEER ME ON!
LENSBABIES - It was love at first sight, you know how much I love my lensbabies, they often use my images in their advertising. I just found out there are a few featured on an ad in PC Magazine

Circle of Life - 2 - Paul, Barbara and Isabella at 6 months old. Barbara is a professional model, comedian, and performer; I SWEAR Isabella has inherited all of those genes. She's a total poser, like everytime I clicked the shutter she would change expressions or positions. REALLY!

Circle of Life, session 1 - On Saturday, I had the most spectacular day! It started at 7am with a great bike ride. My time and average speed keeps improving! At 9am, I photographed Tania's belly again, and this time we added in Tom and Emma (the Dog) A GREAT session!
