SWIMMING POOLS & MOVIE STARS......



I've wished for access to a private swimming pool for many year. Well, my wish finally came TRUE!

I had the pleasure of photographing Dan, Diane, and Stella at their home in Boulder twice in the past week.

Last Monday when I showed up at the house, Stella gave me the tour. I noticed a blue glow coming from the downstairs.






"You guys have a POOL? " I asked. "Indeed, and we spend lots of time in there."

YIPPEE!

Of course I didn't have any underwater gear, but that has never stopped me from getting the shot. We all jumped in the pool, and lost track of time as we played together. The rest of the day my heart just raced excited from the art I had just created.


On Sunday, with a borrowed camera, goggles, swim cap, and some white fabric, I set out to do something I had never done before. This first shot reminds me of an umbilical cord. I shot toward the deep end to enhance the blue of the water.
