Today is my birthday - And wouldn't you know that it's SNOWING here in Colorado. You see this has been an issue ever since I was a child, it snows on my birthday! When it snows, less people brave the weather to have cake. That's why I believe in celebrating the birthday month! More chances for better weather, more opportunities to eat sushi, drink good wine, and eat cake of course! So tonight there will be a nice pot of soup, and some crispy salad, and some wonderful organic ice cream from my good friend, Kim, of BLISS ORGANIC ICE CREAM. I just had to share a wonderful photo of sweet little Isabella and me on her birthday. I've been photographing little Isabella and her family since she was just born (and of course in mom's belly) There's a great photo of Barbara and Isabella that Lensbabies is using in their current print ads (posted to the blog on October 27.) Her birthday is on January 10th and she just turned one year old. I was amazed at just how well she handled the singing and the cupcake eating.
