I spent 4 magical days working and photographing Katherine and her elephants in February 2008. I am excited to return someday, and am proud to announce their new website!

Marylou Hecht and her team over at Dyad Communications did a great job!

#357 - John Popper

Tuesday night, March 31, John Popper of the Blues Traveler came over to Something Underground's warehouse to jam. The band Recycled Percussion, mid-tour, were already at the warehouse set up to rock with the brothers of SUG, along with some other friends - Scooter Barns, Todd Davis, and Satchel. It was a last minute planned jam session of epic proportions. Around 11:30pm, Justin Spencer of Recycled Percussion informed everyone that John would arrive in 20 minutes. The rest is history. The entire jam was recorded and parts of the recording will be released soon!!!! Also on the scene, taking fantastic photos, was Peggy Dyer. She captured the vibe through her gift of photography. Check out her latest project (of which John Popper took part in) at www.onemillionfaces.org.

Front Page News about One Million Faces -

Yesterday was a magnificent day in Longmont - sure it started out snowy, and overcast, my hopes were not as high as normal thinking that the turnout for the shoot might be smaller than expected with the weather.  The opposite was true - I photographed 50 people yesterday at the Little Fig Baking Company!  Thank you to everyone that came out.

Rachel from The Longmont Times Call did a great job penning this story, and Morgan got some great photos.  Pick up a copy of the paper and check it out online.  SPREADING THE LOVE

I'm a prolific artist with a passion for people.

Changing the conversation is my goal - the photographs are simply the vehicle. I'm already doing it, and as you can see from the screen shot below, President Obama is already on the same page

OMF - #236 - Sunday morning at the Historic Train Yard, Boulder, CO.

One of the things I love the most about the one million faces project is the variety of people I am already meeting and photographing. Ixeexa and John met up with us while we were doing a few final portraits of models for my Intern's portfolio class. I mentioned to a few people that we would be there and a few people actually showed up! If you cruise over to the OMF blog you'll see the slideshow I made from her session.
